Our logo has been finalized, and thanks to reader comments Craig and Becky have been swayed. We’ve taken a few hesitant first steps toward our goal, and for that we celebrate.
Problems continue to pop up though. Wineguy over at Santa Barbara County Wine Notes noticed that there may be legibility problems with the “C” in our Capozzi Logo. It is a shame we weren’t able to post our proofs online before having to make our final decisions, but thats how it worked out. I continue to be impressed by the wisdom of the masses and am going to fight to keep the design process online from here on out to solicit feedback of exactly this kind.

Yes, that would not be good at all. We may still be able to have the Calligraphy Lady work her magic on the “C”, its something I’m looking into. In any event, everyone’s feedback did have a great effect on Craig and Becky (it was after all unanimous that the flourished version was the better of the two). Which makes me feel good because I like to win.
