…to boost the volume of your phone’s alarm — say, if you’re a heavy sleeper — you can rest it inside a large wine-balloon that’s had its stem snapped off. The glass bowl acts as a resonating chamber for the alarm.

And since you can’t drink any wine out of the glass once you’ve implemented this ingenious solution, you won’t be quite so hung over and thus won’t be so inclined to oversleep your alarm in the first place. Double bonus!
