I’m off to a Halloween murder mystery party over at Jordan Winery. Happily I’ve learned I’ll be sitting near the Assistant Winemaker Ronald, so we’ll have plenty to talk about. Ronald is from South Africa and was trained at Stellenbosch. He also has a fantastic knack with storytelling.
Also attending will be Megyn Kendall from Fox News and the local DA who, it seems, is now infamous for his handling of the whole John Mark Carr kurfuffle (lost evidence and all that). I’m told that Ms. Kendall interviewed the DA at the time and that the exchange was something other than pleasant. Interestingly, neither of them know the other is coming.

Looking forward to hearing more about the Halloween event.
The Mrs. and I had a memorable and fun time in Sonoma and Napa over the past week. I’ll try to get a post some notes about the trip over the next few days.
