Swank New Business Cards

January 21st, 20083:25 pm @ Josh Hermsmeyer

So this post serves two purposes.

First, it’s a self-congratulatory little note on what I think are some pretty swell looking business cards. My goals were to come up with a design that was memorable and fun, but that also encouraged people to visit our tasting room. The ticket concept seemed like it fulfilled both of them. Direct to consumer for the win.

Second, since we recently received initial approval from the USPTO for them, this post should hopefully qualify as initial commercial use for the marks “Flavor Country” and “You had me at pinot.”

Trademark issues are distinctly un-fun, as both Brick House winery and Beau at Basic Juice recently learned (Note: Link is down. Beau seems to have deleted the post.). Hopefully via the indexing power of Google, we’ll be spared any such nastiness in the future.

Please do let me know what you think of the cards in the comments, both good and bad. I can take it.
